On the 29th of April, the Sofia Opera will present “Elektra” by Richard Strauss at the 31st opera festival in Bydgoszcz.
Production: Plamen Kartaloff. Conductor: Evan-Alexis Christ. Starring: Gergana Rusekova (Clytemnestra), Lilia Kehayova (Elektra), Radostina Nikolaeva (Hrisothemis), Daniel Ostretsov (Egoist), Atanas Mladenov (Orest) as well as Angel Hristov, Stanislava Momekova, Diana Vasileva, Rosen Nenchev, Stefan Vladimirov, Silvana Pravcheva, Vesela Yaneva, Violeta Radomirska, Alexandrina Stoyanova-Andreeva, Ina Petrova, Maria Pavlova.
The Sofia Opera will tour this festival for the third time. In 1997, the opera “Il Guarany” by Antônio Carlos Gomes was performed there and in 2018: “Prince Igor” by Alexander Borodin.
